Hosta go completely dormant in the autumn, and the dying foliage can be removed any time before mid-spring. Easily divided in either spring or autumn. 'Sea Thunder' has lance-shaped leaves that are ivory-coloured with pale green and dark green. The trumpet-shaped flowers in mid Summer are a pale lilac colour.
