My #CastIron isn't doing so good due to that #freeze. I assume it's just these exposed leaves that will be damaged. Can't wait for some #newgrowth. #spring #green #hopetheysurvive

Just those damaged leaves really low. It should come back beautifully.

I have heard that they can be grown outside #aspidistra but mine are just useful in shady corners indoors. Very neglect tolerant.

#CastIron still doing its thing! One leaf was burnt in the sun. The wind must have shifted it. But other than that nice long #deepgreen leaves. I can't wait til I get my own house and can plant these in shade 💙

I can relate to that problem. This house sort of faces northeast so the shade and sun isn't good I'm trying to figure out how to create DIY for shade. I did buy that sun filter screen like they have at lowes where they have the flowers and planted outside. I feel ya🤣😂

#Aspidistra #CastIron! This was 3 plants off a mother plant. Given to me by my great grandmother who had hers for 50 years from her mother! I hope I can also keep these for 50 years! #CastIronPlant is very hardy so I have a good feeling 😁

I always look for this plant when I visit nurseries. Haven't found one yet.

@alovealoe yeah I've only seen it at my grandmother and in other people's yards already.
