Here's my #hypericum grown from seed, now in the ground for a few months. I read it was slow growing, but jaysus it's slow!! It's still tiny! Any tips for growing perforate John's Wort? It's in semi shade right now. #stjohnswort #stjohnswort-fromseed #grownfromseed #advice #medicinal

@sharonhayden Do you think I should move it to a full sun bed?

I’m no expert but I have a few hypernicums in the garden- not the perforated one - I’m still looking for that- and they are all in full sun - get cut right back and grow massive again- so I think lots of sun I also don’t water them...good luck

Thanks for the tip! @sharonhayden I'll do that soon.

It’s so exciting when you see seeds have germinated isn’t it? 😁

I couldn't resist getting this cute little seed starting tray in flying tiger 😆 put some St John's Wort seeds in, hopefully they have a chance to flower this year as I love drinking tea made from it! #stjohnswort #stjohnswort-fromseed #gyo #medicinal #wildflower #bee-friendly #butterflygarden #growfromseeds #seedtray #grownfromseed #seed-starting #sowing
It's been a long time since I've posted here! Things are going well in the lil garden, at least last i checked 😂 I'm not using social media as much but this sunny moment with the bees and st johns wort was like a visual antidepressant to me so i had to share! 💛 So thankful for the oasis I've created :)
Plants and nature can be a great way to relieve anxiety and lighten depression. Glad to hear you're doing well😊
So thankful too for having a garden, was without one for nearly 7 years so really appreciate it now.
Nice to hear you doing well and your St. John’s wort - I went around looking through leaves fir perforations - but never found any even though there are loads of hypericum around here!
