Beginner green thumb. In Connecticut, wooded area, zone 6a.
6th place this stuff popped up from my underdone compost.
Stump grinded down and covered with compost which must have had seeds from last year's clippings
Transplanted fall 2016, front slope garden.
Main place for this plant. By letting it flower it got in to my compost pile. And is now all over the yard.
Need to bag deadhead clippings unless compost pile gets hot enough to destroy seeds. @twmcd
@moore.794 This is first year with a pallet compost pile. And it's definitely cooking hotter. Past year was a circle of chicken wire.
