Swapped a north facing garden in Stirlingshire for something a bit more rural (and a bit sunnier) in Clackmannanshire in April 2021.

My first thoughts were these are straggly untidy looking flowers (grown from seed, so the fact they even grew is a bonus) and just when I thought I wouldn't bother again, I went out the back door and caught their amazing scent. Hoverflies love them too. I'll be growing them again next year 😁

They look very delicate.

Delicate! If you mix the seed with Virginian Stocks seed, you get the prettiness and the fragrance. I used to do this - works really well. In fact I'd forgotten until you posted this! Must try n remember for 2018 - remind me 😆😘 xx

They are Laura. They're pretty enough flowers, it's the stems that are a bit unruly @columbiariver

@Clipperty Ooh, that's good to know. I'll try and remind you but I have the short term memory of an easily distracted goldfish. My long term memory is spot on, so I'll remind you in 5 years time.

@sho47 It is. I did tell my mum that, I knew she'd forget 😆 I think the pot it was in might have been yours to start with. It didn't flower this year but you might get something next year. Not enough sun for it in my back garden.
