Swapped a north facing garden in Stirlingshire for something a bit more rural (and a bit sunnier) in Clackmannanshire in April 2021.

Not the most exciting photo, I know, but I (erstwhile gardening doofus) have grown it from seed and I'm quite pleased with myself 😁

Do sweet pea seedlings normally start flopping? I've put a cane in the one on the right but haven't tied it; should I?? I'm a bit confused as to what I should be doing with them. Can I leave the three seedlings in the one pot? Help! #advice #sweetpea

I used wooden skewers to support mine - before the cats, slimers and mice got to them!

..yes they will flop ...you need to tie them to a support until the tendrils grow and start supporting the plants themselves.. and they can be pinched out to encourage side shoots..

Thanks @ukjohnny I thought if I started them early they might fare a bit better in part shade. Worth a try anyway.

..absolutely Suzy ..the earlier you can start them off ..the sooner they will be at the flowering stage... especially if growing them in semi-shade .. good idea to get them going early
