How fun! BTW we need to exchange some of these lilies. I have a white with a touch of pink. My mother has a lavender that I need to try to get going again. Your red is fabulous.

Janice I'm definitely interested !! I Live these flowers. I'll take a photo later so you can see mine. They're small . But I have 3 of em. Is it ok to divide when they're young ? Or I guess cuttings are fine ? You're the veteran. I'll follow your lead. @lovestogarden

Well, that would be a 🤣 mistake, Sherri. 😊 I have been given many different times these plants from my mother, and, well, like I say, only one color took. Let's wait until yours get older, multiply and when not in bloom. I am going to try the lavender ones from my mother again once they are no longer blooming. 💕 I do not think cuttings would work for me.

Is it okay to divide these while they're in bloom??? Couldn't find the answer on Google. All I could find was to divide them in Spring. #peruvianlily #garden #gardening #gardenquestion

I personally would wait till after they flower. When you transplant/divide/separate a plant goes into a tad bit of shock. If they where in a container and you were putting them in ground i would still wait to divide them untill after blooming. I tried last year to do just that with some lillies and it shocked the lily to much and the rest didnt even finish blooming. Thats just me tho someone else might know different. Sorry i cant be much help. I did find this tho 👇👇

I agree with @cyndi and would wait till after they finish flowering and have died back. You might find a few on the edge of the clump that aren’t flowering and you could try transplanting them if you’re in a hurry. But really they’re best planted when dormant.
