Not so good with pie @lilybee as I’m gluten free and to be frank gluten free pastry is revolting @charlotte hence there is always more crumble - I even managed to freeze blackberries so they can go in as well 😋😊

Party streamers in the #appletree with the small rose which has just burst into bloom again - just realised this picture is quite dark - the flowers show up better in evening light- but the apples don’t !

@gardengirlla you’ve got good eyes! They were for tea lights - I love a solar powered light or little lights in the trees- but they’ve got yucky water in them now! Sorry don’t know name - but will show you a better pic - I call it apricot and you called it 🍑😀

Cooking Apple has dropped so many #apples so early in the year- any suggestions as to what I could do with them?

Possibly making room for the rest to ripen properly?

@sadieberg oh do you think it’s lack of water? I thought it was the angle it’s bending over- I haven’t been watering it- but will try thanks

Be carful watering an apple too much. They do not like too much and it can cause new issues. @sadieberg

I didn't know Sharon, I just thought it was stressing with the heat, we have had no rain and high temps for over a month so worth a try. I don't normally water it. I will stop now though, thanks Janice @lovestogarden. Thanks @cyndi for that link, we have had a cold winter so it could be frost splitting.

@sadieberg read the link thanks @cyndi says it’s frost damage- probably too cold and then too hot, says it will heal itself
