This thing suddenly got huge the last few weeks. The other oakleaf I have didn't quite match this one, but had quite a growth spurt as well.

Wow! That's a pretty one. I think mine wants more sun than it's getting. It seems stunted, unlike this one

Thanks @columbiariver. I think they do like more sun than some other hydrangeas. Mine are in dappled, light shade for a few hours in the afternoon, but full sun in the morning and evening.
