Nigella flowering like mad! Such an easy plant to grow and it takes care of itself in a sunny position. Self seeds too which I don't mind. πŸ€“

Really? I didn't know that. Do they go for the seed then? It's in the front garden currently which doesn't get much bird attention but I've collected seed so plan to try sowing out the back πŸ˜€ @linfoster

The Nigella seedheads are almost ripe now. When the pods start to split at the top, empty the black seeds inside into a dry free container to store. Next year, these can be sown directly onto the soil for another great display πŸ˜€
