I love gardening, particularly wildlife and GYO. I have an addiction when it comes to buying plants. I only wish I could spend more time indulging!

Allium siculum syn. Nectaroscordum siculum, Allium nectaracsardium, Allium bulgaricum

Who left the light on? These #allium are going to be buzzing soon as bees love flying into the flowers. Have a great Friday everyone! My last day of work before a week off, yay!

Hello gorgeous!! I love these flowers. Do you use planting zones in the UK like we do in the US? I always assume that most any flower which blooms up where you are won’t stand a chance way down here in the hot hot hot and very humid Florida sun. 😢 (that’s sweat, not tears! Haha)

Thanks Laney! No we don’t have zones in the UK, some plants have a better chance of overwintering further south but it’s no guarantee. I had a look at these and they are zone 5-10 so there is a chance they might be able to stand the heat, the humidity may be another matter?? 🙂 @laneygarden

Morning everyone. I hope the thunder storms didn't cause too much damage! The bees took refuge in these alliums 😀🐝

Morning Richard, we were very lucky here in South Lincs, all we got was a couple of showers. Have a lovely day. 😊😊😊

I love them too, perfect for bees! And the seed heads are interesting as well.
