Just been admiring my own. They bounce off the #rudbeckias and #yellow #dahlias at this time of the year and I just #love-it. Another cracker @rachelbrooks 💜💛🧡💜

Think I like these more than the flahrs Claude! This actually hasn’t been great this year, but my other salvias have been - still going great guns now! 😍 @clipperty

Bet that looks fab Stephen! I plonked this next to the Hydrangea Limelight, and it’s looked brill, especially when the limelight is in the lime stage! @edelweiss001

Lost my Amistad last year so did my son so I didn’t feel too much of a failure! Love the height and colour of it😊

@rachelbrooks I only spotted my #hydrangea #limelight is turning pink. It's the first year and I wasn't aware of this....I know a lot of #hydrangea go pink but this surprised me. Sounds fab. I've a couple of younger #salvias to go in and #hydrangea #limelight and maybe my #annabelle are the lucky ones. Thanks Rachel. 💜

I lost my first one too Elise 😏 Almost dug this one out as well this year as I thought I’d lost it. Was literally just about to and noticed tiny green shoots at the bottom! I think they take their time waking up! (Sounds familiar 🙊😉) @auricula

I'm s'posed to be cutting things back, but I can't bring myself to chop the salvia back when it's flowering so prettily! Cuttings taken though 💜

What do you normally do with yours Keely? Do you just cut it back and leave it? 🤔 @Keely

I'm leaving mine too! Still flowering in earnest. I cut mine back and as there in pots I pop them in a cold frame type shelter with a layer of shingle on top for extra protection. @rachelbrooks 😁

Ah ok, thanks Lynda. This one is in the ground so I guess I'll just have to mulch it like Keely says and hope for the best (and that my cuttings take!) @LyndaClack @Keely

@rachelbrooks Yeah good mulch and hope you don't have an extreme winter in your part of the country. Mulch heavily 😉👌👌👍👍👍

Mulched mine last year and it is actually in quite soggy ground where it is and it came back this year have got one in a pot and 2 others in garden too so hoping at least one will survive can do cuttings too I have a baby one in summerhouse just in case they show quite late so you may think you have lost them then all of a sudden they start to show again 😃 leave mine to die down naturally and tidy up later 😆

Thanks girls 👍🏼 @LyndaClack We don't normally have too harsh winters 😬 @Keely and that sounds promising Keely! I'll also have to try to remember that it might be a bit late! 🙄😂
