Morning mi Amiga @rachelbrooks the rain was very much needed had a few rumbles of thunder. Hope you have a Fabulous day & the weather is kind to you, looking forward to pics. say hi to Claudia & Barbara from me 😘
Morning Suz, cor it went beserk at work yesterday - the longest and loudest thunder I've heard for a long time and our yard was flooded! 😬 I think we had a months' rain in an hour! Hope it's brightened up at home now so you can have a potter! 👍🏼 @jadojado29
Just had a look Patty, thank you 💕 I don't think it is that one though - this looks quite upright as it's growing through a support! I think it's a Rugosa variety... but thank you for the suggestion 👍🏼 @pattygardd
Beautiful Rachel and look at all the other buds close by 😍 Will look at your other pics tomorrow, as it's a nightmare trying to comment today. Apologies if I only "Like" your posts tomorrow, if it's playing up again 😞
@beckers1974 I took this one last week from one of my late father in laws' roses. Had taken two earlier in the year but they didn't take so followed Carol Kleins' advice on GW a couple of weeks back and took a larger cutting, in a clay pot in compost mixed with some grit. Hey presto! I have a new leaf forming! I'm over the moon! 🌝 hope I manage to keep it going now! #cuttings
That's superb! I've yet to do a rose cutting - maybe next year! Took cuttings from my basket earlier - that wasn't fun in the strong wind! They kept blowing away! 🙈 They were flagging by the time I got around to working on them but look a bit better now. At least there are loads of seed pods as a back up!
