Gorgeous. A taste of things to come Rachel. My Iceberg has the most growth on it out of all my new roses. Can't get out to look for buds as everywhere is so wet and I have to walk across the wet soil to get a closer look. I spotted greenfly a couple of days ago and blasted them so hope they've gone now 😊
Oh it will put in so much growth you won't believe Sue! 👏🏼 and I think my whole garden is covered in greenfly 😳 I do spray a few weeks ago but I think I'll have to do it again - all my roses are smothered! 😱 @susanhumphrey333
Thanks all ☺️☺️ this is just outside my back door and Mr always moans that it's too messy (which it is!) and it needs cutting down...but it's here to stay! How could I get rid of it?! 😱 @lamaisonbleueoleron @cazz47 @yodamama @mich @juliesgarden And yes, in need of a bit of blue sky today! 😬
Oh that's a shame Cynthia 😔 and I have to say I don't particularly treat mine very well! 😳 I don't prune when 'they' say we're s'posed to, I give them a couple of feeds a year and that's about it! @clustyroen
So pleased your rose has bloomed yet again @Rachelbrooks .The garage, cellar area inundated with water 💦 again . Some minor water damage on the lower level of the house , kitchen , dining area inside . nothing to major that can't be fixed again . It has happened four times this month here 🤔
Oh what a nightmare Deborah! But I guess as long as you're all ok that's the important thing...😘 let's hope the rains stay away and you dry out quickly @latebloomer and thank you - this rose I brought from our old house 11 years ago. It was cut right back to nothing a couple of years ago so I'm delighted it's flourishing!
@nessas You've shown us yours so I'll show you mine! 😂 not the best pic actually but it gets huge. Had to cut it back completely when we had the wood on the pergola replaced but it's thriving again now 👌🏼😊
Thanks 😊 @missiscook I bought it in 2004 I Had it in a large planter against a wall in my old garden and made my husband dismantle the trellis so I could bring it with us when we moved in 2005! It was only about 6 foot then! I have another climbing rose that I brought with us as well, but it isn't as big as this although it flowers all summer long 😊😊
