Was still covered in leaves at the beginning of the week, but I don’t mind this one losing them so quickly, ‘cause then it means I can see the fiery #red stems ❤️ Have a cosy evening flowers 🌸 #dogwood #cornus
I love it Jayney, definitely one of my all time faves. The biggest I’ve let this get is 7’ ish, but you are s’posed to cut it back every February anyway to encourage the red stems (I do it every 2-3 years to be honest) so it’s easy to keep under control. Didn’t even know there was a dwarf one Jase!! @jaynehynesburton @Jasonsparkes1
What...like a sunburnt twig? 😉 ooh just remembered I got a yeller one last year, it’s behind this. Didn’t notice it when I took the pic, I’ll have to check on it in the morning! Sorry...random thought there. (You’re used to them! 😉🤣😘) @clipperty
I do Rachel. Your encouragement has prompted me to make it happen. I'll have a display in the woods, but visible from the house. I've got 3 types now, but have propagated several of the osiers to go with the snowdrops I'm ordering soon. I think it will bring me to 10 or 12 in one area! So stoked about it. All thanks to your ideas. It became a vision to me.
