There is a visitor..i wish yall could see how big this bloom is..i have grown this morning glory for 5 or 6 years now and every year the bloom gets bigger and bigger

@PunkyKy I planted 17 different varieties tho year and there's no telling how many over the years and what the seeds are that I have collected..morning glories are my favorite flower because they make me think of my grandmother ..I ordered 11 rare varieties this year ..they have buds on them now

@PunkyKy if you like morning glories like I do check out summerhillseeds.com...I have ordered every morning glory seed they have and they are cheap and they grow and are rare varieties and then invest in a lot of lattice or poles! I have them climbing anything they can climb

I can't say for sure but I think I have grown so many different varieties of morning glories for so long they are cross pollinating because I am getting some unusual colors this year

@lesliecole49 I am and this time I am separating the different varieties instead of mixing them all in one jar because this year I didn't know which bloom it would be until it bloomed

@lesliecole49 this is one of the rare morning glories I gave you seeds from...they are bigger and prettier this year...this bloom is about the same size as my face! My chocolate mint mg's have blooms but ha ent opened yet

This must be the one that took over my Tropical Garden. I trimmed it down alot and going to train it to go up a pole. It bloomed s purple and white flower.

Funny I've had a veggie garden riddled with morning glory and I view it with fear. I have a hard time even appreciating the flower due to lack of control. I'm sure others feel the same way about a variety of growth/flowers. @petersburghomesteader
