The winter before last I decided I wanted this inherited path up, it was neither use nor ornament. We started the project just before the first lockdown and consequently couldn’t get the supplies we needed. Well a year later and it’s finally completed ✅ 💚

Well done, looks so much better, may have taken a long time but the result is excellent. @pelly.

Thank you, that path has been bugging me for six years now 🙄😂 @joycemb

And these kind of paths, the stones are never set to where you actually use them as steps, they are always too far apart or too close for an actual person's stride. ... or my stride, anyway. 🚶‍♀️

Started scarifying the lawn yesterday and got the worst bits done. Now to finish the job. Such fun 🙄

The lawn is Geoff’s domain! He has an electric scarifier 😂

Neil cuts mine and has actually offered to do it but I wanted him to get on with painting the front fence, more fool me 😂 I used to have an electric one but it took up so much space in the shed that I sold it 🙄 @joanboston

Do you leave some of the moss for the birds ? I often see them pecking at my grass which is mainly moss !!!

I never manage to get it all out, try as I may. The sparrows like pecking the wood from my trellises for their nests 🙄😂 @charlotte

Geoff had a week off to paint all the fences a few weeks ago. They look great

It makes such a difference doesn't it. We're still painting ours. We made a good start then the cold and winds started so it got put back. Started again today though but it feels like it's never ending @joanboston

Fortunately Geoff was off before the weather took a dive! Took him working all day six days to do front back and side. He was glad to go back to work for a rest😂

I know Sue, but I wanted to wait until everything had gone over so that I could pot the plants up as the whole lot needs doing. Eekkk @lilybee Time for plan B whatever that is 🙄😂

Are you laying a new lawn or is it all going to be plants? @pelly

2w

New lawn but hopefully slightly bigger borders. The front gardens where I live are all open so so many weeds blow in and it's got to the stage where I can't keep up with it. With a fresh start I'm hoping it will be easier @lilybee 🤔👍

This is a bit of the worst part since using the 4 in 1 treatment, it is shaded by next door's Conifer hedge. My job this morning was to scarify it (and the rest of the lawn) .

I won't have a lot of grass left Sue 😂😂😂. Next job in two weeks is to scarify and after that re-seed, but it had to be done, we've not touched it since we moved in. I was going to do it last autumn, but never got round to it. @susanhumphrey333 😊😊😊
