Morning everyone, have a marvellous Monday. I love this plant in flower and it goes on to have interesting seed heads too so you get a long season from it 💜🤍💜 #nicandra-physalodes #shoofly

Morning Jane …me too although mine got monsters !!😂

Morning Julie, they can get very big. These are in the front garden and for some reason or other nothing is growing well in it this year 🤫 @juliesgarden

Morning Jane 💜 Fabulous photo

Bonkers !! I had to pull mine as they were blocking other plants 😬

Morning Jane 🙋 I must keep an eye out for this.

Morning Jane, I've got that it's a great colour, I must take a photo of mine to catalogue 📸

Morning Jason, thank you 💜 @hebelover

Morning Jeremy, no need, I'll send you some seeds. I must get your aquilegia Black Barlow seeds in the post for you 🌱🌱🌱 @jpea

Morning Sue. I agree, the colour is beautiful and the seed heads too 💜 @churchfarmgarden

That's very kind of you Jane, thank you 😊 @pelly

Good morning Jane 💜💜💜

Be careful with grandchildren, i believe it’s poisonous?

Thanks Joan. There are conflicting reports on its toxicity but the RHS say they've never had any problems reported. I'm hoping the grandchildren will be able to come into our gardens eventually 😍 @joanboston

That’s good to know Jane, yes it would be good to have the grandkids over We always sow seeds and label them up. They are missing so much bless them

They certainly are, I miss them so much Joan as I know you do too 😢 @joanboston

The underside of these certainly belies the beauty of these flowers but I find this fascinating 🖤 #shoofly #nicandra-physalodes #undersideofflower #black

They are such wonderful plants, thank you for introducing me to them and I love sharing seeds Barbara 😃😘 @jacaranda

Mine are about 4/5 foot now Jane , such pretty flowers 💜

Is it sticky it looks like tar.....I have one incy wincy tiny seedling coming through from the seeds....I’m just going to leave them...

They are lovely I grew them for several years. afyer being given the seed but forgot to collect seed one time so no more shoofly plants.

Oh mine are nowhere near that but I'm loving them Julie 😃 @juliesgarden

No it's not sticky but it looks like it should be. Yes, leave it, mine were very slow compared to Julie's @juliesgarden 👍 @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

I can send you some seeds if you'd like some Joan? 👍 @joannie.a
