I was surprised to see this single flower on my cistus this afternoon. I pruned the old growth the other day and didn’t notice any buds. I’m not complaining though💗 #cistus-silverpink

@pelly I’ve seen some on here this year that have random white stripes. Wonder if it’s a reversion 🤔 think it makes the pink stand out even more 💓

I've just looked it up, it's a triple hybrid and one of its parents is white and from what I can understand it will readily back cross. It all a bit confusing for me 🙄 but I get the gist of it Kerry. I hope it happens again though 💞 @kez001uk
