What a lovely colour. I guess they are not edible ??

I have this but no berries, although the leaves have been fabulous, wonder what I'm doing wrong 🤔 yours look amazing 👍

Apparently they are edible but bitter and as Cyndi @cyndi says above they can be made into a jelly which is said to resemble elderberry jelly. I haven’t got enough to make a thimble full so I won’t be trying it this year Charlotte @charlotte 💜💜

Love beauty berries! Discovered this morning that there is a variety that will grow here!

What a fantastic berry. The colour is amazing it would be intresting to find out what the jelly is like if you ever have enough to try @pelly you will have to.let us know what its like

This is my first year with it Kathryn, so I'll tell you what mine has done from a bare root in early spring It started producing leaves in early summer and it flowered about two months ago, as the berries formed the leaves turned to a beautiful purple/brown colour then started to fall, leaving just the berries, that's where mine is now. Not much help I'm afraid @katgreen 🤔🤔
