Morning Jane, not been a good year for agapanthus. Ours was totally pot bound so it was decimated trying to get it out of the pot! A couple of bits have survived and put up a few small leaves. I have another clump in the ground which has three buds so 🤞🤞
Morning Joan, I remember you saying about that. I did the same, Neil ended up getting a saw to one of them but even that one has three spikes. I'm amazed. I'm sure we will both have amazing displays next year 💙 @joanboston
Morning Jane. I split a customer's huge Agapanthus earlier this year, I took 2 pieces away. Both are full of buds but a little bit later to flower! Can't wait as I love them, and a bonus as they were a freebie 😊👍💙💙💙
This is all I've got at the moment, it would be nice if I got a few more Sue. I hope yours gets some soon 👍 Would you like some Sticky Catchfly seeds, I remembered to collect some this year and I know you commented on my plant a few weeks ago? 🤔 @suerichards
Oh dear, I decided to start splitting and re-potting my Agapanthus today. I broke my scissors in the process and Neil had to get his saw to cut through it!! I now have two plants..........if they survive the rough treatment they have had. Just three more to do 😱 #agapanthus #african-lily
@pelly my new garden is coming along slowly, as I have jobs to do indoors . Hopefully this coming weekend I'll make the effort to plant up some bulbs, and do some more tidying. Everything that I think will take me about an hour ends up taking me all morning ! That's probably why we gardeners love gardening so much .
Oh my, I have a bud. These didn’t flower last year so I took Angie’s @angiecrazycatlady advice and put them in pots and sunk them in the soil. They still didn’t seem happy so I took the pots out and put them on the gravelled area just over a week ago thinking I would end up discarding them, thank goodness I didn’t 💙💙
