I want to try this. Will you have to support the watermelon as they get bigger?

Yea the trellis isn't strong enough for full grown melons. May connect it with another trellis or just place some posts

@nickyd513. I have read that each watermelon has to be supported but i have also read that the stem will grow thicker and will support the watermelon. I'm hoping the 2nd scenario is true, less work :-)
