This is the first #bud I have caught this year on this little #miniature-rose. I have weeded, cleaned leaves, cleared the area it is in enough to actually get to it. While down at my parents awhile ago, I "fetched in" this very weathered extension from an old #ladder their neighbor was tossing. I wouldn't stand on it, but for a #rose #trellis, it is perfect. My 92 year old father helped me rig a brace to keep it sturdy because we had to cut it in half to get it into my car. 👏👏 Fun to do and I love it. #climbingrose #trellis-ladder #southerncalifornia 7 July 2020 😷🙏💞

Lol, I work doing auto detail for an auction house and we toss anything left in the vehicles. I just brought home a bunch of commercial air conditioning filter frames to use for trellising.

I just realized I have never added my Rosa 'Cecile Brunner' Climber ( #miniature #climbingrose ) to my plants.
