Been gardening for a good number of years now. Love the cottage garden look and growing lots of herbs. Huge fan of companion gardening.

Mmmm mint sauce! Picked up some nice lamb chops from the butchers just now!

@linfoster, very very simple. Chop the mint in a food processor with a pinch of salt, heat some cider vinegar up with a teaspoon or so of caster sugar to just warm and mix in a glass jug. It is better when it's been left for a while but having spent all weekend digging and tidying the garden I didn't really get round to it .... For me, it's all about getting the temperature just right to release the flavour but not so much that it all disappears

@linfoster it seems to be the only one which has been happy enough to establish itself in my garden ..... all over the garden! Wanted a dedicated mint bed with all the different varieties but our slug and snail families decided it was a free for all picnic!

I'm going to give it another go this year since I discovered the amazing slug gone wool pellets! I'm a terrible one for "collecting". I have about 5 different varieties of thyme, only 2 different sages at the moment but I did have about 5 different varieties of mint last year.
