Good afternoon guys. I’m after some #advice please. I want to move this sea holly as it’s currently stuck in the wild flower bed & being swamped by other things. I’ve asked dear Mr Google & he says move it in the autumn. Ideally I’d like to move it now to put in a new border that I’ve just prepared. Any thoughts or advice gratefully received. Thank you 😊 #help #advice #eryngium-advice

I'd say with most plants if you can get enough of the root ball and it hasnt got a deep tap root then move it. Not much different than planting from a pot in a garden centre and we do that all year round. I've taken all sorts out recently and they seem to be coping well in @jadojado29 garden with plenty of water 😁😁😁

Thank you sweetheart 😘 @vec That’s what I thought, when commercial growers have to move things all the time. I’m gonna risk it. Nothing ventured & all that 😉. Suz has most of your plants in her garden. Who needs a garden centre 😂😂😂😘 @jadojado29

Not sure but I'd wait until autumn. Sea holly has a long taproot and they doesn't like being moved. I tried last year and it died back and this year only has leaves but no flowers.

Hmmm not looking promising. Think I’d better leave them alone for now & move them in the autumn 😏 @vec @ublaszko
