@hkyfvr aren’t they! 😍 I’m not sure why but only 2 of the 4 pots of anemones were flattened 🤔 plenty more buds to open but the foliage is a write off 😬

It will be lovely to see more flowers. Too bad about the foliage. 🙁 💟

@pelly they frustrate me too. I love them but by god they’re a scruffy plant 😂 can’t say I do much with them but keep them in sheltered shade. Seems to keep the soil damp enough without being too wet so they don’t suffer stem rot, and protects them from the wind. Seems to have worked so far and the shaded ones are far more successful and long-flowering than the ones I have in full sun. I do hope you have success on your last attempt because they are a gorgeous addition when they cooperate 😂

Thanks for the advice Kerry. I’m going to take all but one of mine out and get some new ones. I made a start on my spring bulb list yesterday so I’ll add them to that 👍

Btw, I’ve just looked at Farmer Gracy’s anemones, I wish I hadn’t 😱😂😂
