#firstshoots #sedum I love ❤ these as they look like baby cabbages!!! 😂

Lovely 😊

I always thought that too 😂
#foliagefriday Some of the clumps of #sedum are more further on than others. I know I should call them by their new name but in my garden once a sedum always a sedum! 😏 #mygardentoday 💚
I agree Barbara @jacaranda I don’t know why they keep changing the names of plants. You get used to one name and then it changes 😁
One of mine is the same, the other is way behind 🤔
I still call them sedums too😁
@KOutdoors It drives me potty, Karen, especially when the new name is a real tongue twister! I’ll never remember hylotelephium in a million years 🤣🤣
This one gets more light and sun (when it’s out, which hasn’t been much recently 😂) so I think that’s the reason here, Jane. 👍 @pelly
At least we know what we’re talking about when we call them sedums, Katy! The new name doesn’t mean much to me!!! @gjones 😏
It will always be sedum to me too !! 😂😂
Neither of mine get much sun but the bigger one has less around it. It’s never been as big as this so early though 🤔😘
Total agreement 👍🏻
Lol! It just rolls off the tongue doesn’t it 🙄 it does get confusing when only half the sedum’s changed name, the others stayed as they were as sedums! Something we are going to have to get used to. Recently discovered Perovskia has been moved into the Salvia genus now. And Hebe’s are now Veronica’s 😵💫
Well, my 'sedums' are coming up but just. I also have perovskia (rusdian sage) but no hebes/ Veronica's yet. I knew a Veronica once, in high school...
