Our creative adventure began in 1999, a new house and a bare plot. We took a break from NGS openings in 2021/22 but we’ll be back in 2023!

It’s been a very busy day so I almost forgot about #foliagefriday 😂 The #sarcococca buds are about to open and I can hardly wait for their glorious fragrance to fill the air. #winterfragrance #evergreen #jacarandadrive #mygardentoday 💚

Clearing leaves from underneath the #sarcococca hedge revealed loads of babies! I’ve potted up a dozen but there are more waiting to be done. #seedlings #freebies #selfseeders #evergreen #scented #winterscent #mygardentoday 26/09/2019

Just look at all these babies hiding in the gravel beneath the #sarcococcahedge Time to get down on my hands and knees underneath the hedge, dig them out and pot them up! #selfseeders #evergreen #newplants

I couldn’t let #greensaturday pass by without including my favourite #wintershrub #sarcococca This one is growing as a hedge alongside the front porch and when the tiny #whiteflowers open their scent fills the air. #evergreen #mygardentoday

It's nice to see what my tiny one will look like eventually. I've planted it as near to my front door as I could Barbara 😍😍

I have a small #sarcococca hedge by the front porch which produces black berries after flowering. The berries self #seed underneath the hedge and last month I dug up 18 baby plants and potted them on. They're in the #greenhouse for now but will go outside in the autumn. Sarcococca Babies, anyone??? 🤔😂

How quickly did they grow, Lynda? I collected some a couple of years ago and they're still quite small. @LyndaClack
