Our creative adventure began in 1999, a new house and a bare plot. In 2012 we opened for the NGS. https://www.ngs.org.uk/find-a-garden/garden/26064/

I don’t think Cecile has ever flowered this well before! Maybe it’s because I was lazy with pruning in the autumn (as I was with Clematis ‘Elizabeth’ who shares the same fence). We also had a very wet winter and we’ve now had long spells of warm sunshine. Optimum conditions!!! #rose #rose-cecilebrunner #climber #palepink #mygardentoday

Morning Barbara, prime conditions maybe. Do you think the pruning was the main factor?

Definitely, Mark, as I know I would’ve cut off many of the stems that are now producing flowers! @solly1961
