Visited the fabulous Sussex Prairie Garden yesterday and discovered a new (well new to me!) plant. I couldn’t resist buying a small one but research has revealed that the berries are toxic to humans and it can be invasive! I’ll plant it in a pot to restrict its growth and let the birds enjoy the berries. #phytolacca #phytolaccaamericana #notmygarden #sussexprairiegarden #placestovisit #westsussex
