Our creative adventure began in 1999, a new house and a bare plot. In 2012 we opened for the NGS. https://www.ngs.org.uk/find-a-garden/garden/26064/

Look, Rachel, I found the twin pot! I’ve planted Claudia’s little plant in it and I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this one will do better than the last one!!! @rachelbrooks @clipperty #pelargonium #plantgift #containergarden #mygardentoday 16/06/2019

Yay!! Where was it? 😂and that looks absolutely perfect in there! The scalloped shape of the pot echoes the shape of the leaves. Love it 💚 Yes! Fingers crossed we both do better this time! 🤞🏼 (maybe third time lucky for me! 🙈) 😘

What’s wrong with my poor geranium? I brought in indoors when the weather turned really cold but the leaves keep going brown and it’s looking very sad. It’s in the kitchen on the worktop by the window, not in full sun (when we get any!) but with plenty of light. Any ideas @clipperty @rachelbrooks @cassie26 😘😘😘

Oh mine looks the same Barbara! I wondered if it’s too hot indoors..? 🤔

The air in is to dry and is lots warmer. Your plant is in shock. Don't worry it will be just fine. Will look leggy as it grows indoor. Give it a trim in spring. It will grow properly after.

Thanks @monika09 👍 Claudia’s plant is still outside, Rachel. I wonder if ours should go back outside too? @rachelbrooks

I did think about it Barbara...maybe in a sheltered spot? Shall we do it?! 🤔😬

I don’t know if it’s the same rule for all geraniums, but I think during winter they are supposed to be dormant and have practically no light or watering. I cut mine down to a stalk, brought it indoors in total shade. It’s now growing new leaves🌱🌱

Hiya! Strip off the pooped leaves, harden off and pop in sheltered spot - it’ll be fine then. If not - more cuttings will be provided. They are surprisingly hardy... @wallington do you keep yours in or out? 😘😘

I have kept mine in an unheated greenhouse with very little water and they are putting on new growth Barbara @rachelbrooks 🤔🤔

As the little plant was a gift from Claudia I’m going to follow her advice and 🤞 @clipperty Why don’t you do the same, Rachel, and we’ll compare notes in a month or so? @rachelbrooks 😘😘 Thanks for the advice @Denise16 @pelly Watch this space !!!

My ‘normal’ pelargoniums are in the cold frame and doing fine Jane, but I didn’t want to rush it with this one @Pelly but yes Barbara, let’s do that! Thanks Claude 👍🏼 @clipperty

Ooooo cuttings. Yes please 😀. I have a scented geranium in the poly tunnel and when o saw it yesterday it was still alive much to my astonishment. Now all I need to know is how to take cuttings from it to get fresh new non leggy plants
