Here’s a closeup of #nepeta-blue-dragon for you, Jane @pelly 💙 I usually give it the #chelseachop but as everything is so late this year I decided to leave it to do its own thing. Once the first lot of flowers have gone over I’ll trim it back and if I’m luckily I’ll get another flush in late summer or early autumn 🤞 #nepeta #catmint #rosesandcatmint #mygardentoday 💚

Thank you for posting this Barbara, I didn't realise how beautiful the individual flowers were. After reading up on it a bit more I've decided against it as there are a couple of cats that get into my garden and leave 💩 all over and I don't want to encourage any more 😤😘

I know this looks like a giant stinging nettle but it’s the Catnip I bought at Wisley last year after @cassie26 persuaded me to buy the last one! It’s now at least 90cm tall and my question is, Caroline, do I give it the Chelsea Chop or just let it do its thing? What’s yours like? #catnip #plantadvice #chelseachop

Mine tried to reappear but got eaten by something and has now vanished 🙁 going to buy another one and see if it’s more successful!.....I’d say yes to Chelsea chop 👍
