Our creative adventure began in 1999, a new house and a bare plot. We were part of the NGS family for 10 years. Now we’re sitting back and relaxing!

#foliagefriday The leaves are as soft as velvet when they’re young but become almost leathery in the autumn. #hydrangea #oakleafhydrangea #deciduous #jacarandashadyview #mygardentoday 💚

They’re interesting, Celina, but slow! I’ve never catalogued the flowers, which probably means they’re rather insignificant, although I can’t honestly remember! 😂😂 I must remember to take more notice of it this year and to photograph its progress 🤞 @cee

What position is yours in? Mine are under trees and don’t look nearly this good! I was hoping to grow gigantic NJ-style specimens! 🙄

This one is on the shady side of the garden near the Acer. It was quite small to begin with but it’s slowly getting more robust 💚 @mulberry

Out with the old, in with the new! I love the contrast between the fading leaves and the new ones. Spring has sprung!!! #hydrangea #oakleafhydrangea #newgrowth #mygardentoday 04/04/2019
