When I added the twig supports a few days ago I thought I’d overdone it but these have shot up so quickly that they need lots of twigs to hold them up! 💕 #hyacinths #houseplant #scented #pink #containergarden 💚

Love that effect with the twigs Barbara

Thanks Sue. I saw the idea on here or on Instagram (can’t remember exactly!) from either @awomanonabike or @valjones-hughes or @cee 😂 It’s a great way of supporting the tall stems 👍 @churchfarmgarden 😘

I'd like to take the credit😏 but it wasn't me😊

That’s a shame, Celina, but you’ve got bulbs growing in stones in a glass container so I did steal something from you 😂😘 @cee

I think it was me. I did it with my narcissi but no credit to me as I got the idea from the Farmer Gracy website. It’s a good one though isn’t 👍 They look great Barbara @churchfarmgarden

Great idea! Looks great too😃

Nice idea 💡 Gonna do this with the outside ones 👍

Good thinking Barbara, these get so top heavy and definitely need support. I do wish I had some as I love the smell. I'll have to wait for the ones in the garden 💕💕🌼

What a strange day it’s been, weather wise, with sunshine, dark clouds, high winds, rain and hail. I had to prop the #hyacinth flowers up before I could take a photo but they’re now flattened again!!! #pink #springflowers #springbulbs #mygardentoday 10/03/2019
Time to say goodbye to the first #hyacinth flowers, although the good news is that each of the three bulbs has sent up a new, smaller, flower stem! 😍 #fadedbeauty #pink #springbulbs #houseplant #containergrown 💚
Fabulous...... nothing like the gorgeous fragrance of Hyacinths ..... Hope all is well Barbara ....@jacaranda
Me too ..i will miss their perfume!
I have three blue ones just coming into flower, Julie, and three white ones so the hyacinth fest continues!!! 😂😂😘 @juliesgarden
Ooooh I bet that smells amazing 🤩
It's still very pretty 💕💕
Fabulous! Hi Barbara, Can you help Tony? He wants to know what to do with his spent hyacinth bulbs. @tonygarner
@tonygarner I put my indoor hyacinths in an out-of-the way place outside and leave them to die back naturally. Then I usually plant them in the garden. I do sometimes leave them in the pot and let them flower again the following year, but thy don’t always come back as successfully as the first flowering. I hope this helps 👍
