#succulentsunday advice please! Here’s my first ever attempt at propagation from #succulentleafcuttings so what do I do now? It’s really tiny so should I wait until it’s a lot bigger? #greenhouse #propagationadvice #mygardentoday @sieveheadsarah @ashysuccies 🤔🤔💚💚

Looking good Barbara, just leave it as it is, is it in the pot you’ll keep it in after it’s bigger??

No it isn’t, Sarah. I put half a dozen leaves in one shallow pot just as an experiment and two have now got babies. The others aren’t looking great so I’ll probably end up throwing them away. Should I move the two that have babies and lay them on top of the soil in pots of their own? 🤔 @sieveheadsarah 😘

Looking fine Barbara...👍😜. Leave him there as you have plenty of room for it to grow...doesn’t really need any water until after the leaf dies off...👍

I would do that Barbara as they’ll start growing more roots soon and you’ll not really want to disturb them 👍🏼😀😘

Thank you Chris 🙏 I’m delighted that two are showing signs of growth. The next challenge is to keep them alive going into our winter 🤞 @ashysuccies

Oooh, two conflicting schools of thought 😳 I think I’ll leave both of them in place for a bit longer as they’re really tiny, but I’ll keep a very close eye on them and move them when I think the time is right. Thank you both for your advice. It’s greatly appreciated. @ashysuccies 😘 @sieveheadsarah 😘

Enjoy 😜😍😍

Great news Barbara! 😊

I found this tiny #echeveria growing on a piece of stem that was in water so I’ve potted it up. It’s no more than 1cm in diameter so I don’t hold out much hope of it surviving, but you never know! #watchandwait #greenhouse #succulent #macro 💚

🤞🤞🤞

You never know. It looks pretty good right now. I bet that was such a surprise when you saw it!!😯😊💕

It was, Terri, and it was a tricky job to pot it up! 😅 @terrimclaughlin 😍

I bet it was. Oh my I don’t know if I could of done it. Good job🤗🤗😊💕
I have babies! They’re really tiny and they’ve taken an age to get going, but I’m delighted to see them as they’ve been propagated from cut-off leaves. 💚 #succulentsunday #echevaria #propogation #greenhouse #newplants 💚
Congratulations Barbara 😍
That’s fabulous Barbara...so pleased for you! 😀
🥳🥳
Yay! That's great!
They are so exciting when they’re seen!
🥳 they do take longer at this time of year. Key is patience and it may still be a little longer before it gets to a good size to pot on
