Our creative adventure began in 1999, a new house and a bare plot. We were part of the NGS family for 10 years. Now we’re sitting back and relaxing!

They’re at their best now, dangling like little fishing rods over the roses. #dierama #pink #angelsfishingrod #mygardentoday 💚

They are going to be beautiful 💜 can I ask what position yours are growing in? I grew some from seed and they’re still tiny, but after reading they don’t like to be moved I want to try get them in the right place 😜

Hi Kerry. Mine are in a sheltered spot in a well drained area. They are meant to prefer full sun but mine only get sun until early afternoon. They’re hard to establish, which is why it’s best not to move them. I’ve tried (and failed!) to grow them in another part of the garden, probably because the spot I chose was too wet or waterlogged in winter. Good luck with yours 🤞 @kez001uk

@jacaranda thank you so much for your advice ☺️ will find a sheltered area for them and see how they go 🤞🏻

I have 4 small plants, are they the kind of plant that might take years to see a flower?

2w
comment
jacaranda

I don’t know about years, Deborah, but I believe they’re quite fussy about where they like to grow. I’ve only ever had two flower spikes on mine but I suppose two is better than nothing! 😂💕 @DeborahBanks
