Oh no, mine is doing better than I expected it to for a new plant, I didn't put it in a hanging basket but it's in a pot. Yours isn't going to be long though looking at it Barbara 💜💜

Try planting your #buddleia in a #hangingbasket Jane! This is mine in late summer 2017, first year of planting. It should be even better this year @pelly 🤞😘

Leslie, these ones are bred to grow in baskets and containers so they will remain relatively small 🤞🤣 @lesliecole49 I have two different ones and I prune them really hard in spring, which seems to do the trick 😍

I'll certainly have a look at some others Barbara, I wasn't even aware you could get them for hanging baskets. I had this on my wishlist as someone posted on here that it was a compact one, which is what I need for my garden. Thanks for the info @jacaranda 😘👍

Having successfully grown one #buddleja in a #hangingbasket I'm now having a go at a second one! It's not a great shape at the moment but I'll prune it hard next spring and hopefully it will then fill out 🤞🤞💜💜
