Mines just dropped dead.....and I haven’t got a clue why 🙁

Oh no. That is too bad. Mine looked pretty sad the other day and I realized I had been under watering it. I watered till the water came out the drainage holes and it bounced back. Maybe check the roots see if they have rotted. I get so afraid of overwatering that I do not water enough. Sorry that happened. 🙁 @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

I gave it a good water the other day cos it looks sad but it never bounced back but it does have a one stalk still standing so I’ll see if it does anything...😏

You are not alone. I would either overwater or neglect them. Now I have a moisture metre to tell me when to water. I have lost a few plants since gtags but they were difficult plants or plants that do great in the summer but hate our cold Winters. I learn every day. I ordered a new book which should help on houseplants. Yes I have spent a fair bit but I am not buying shoes or clothes right now so it feels about right 🤣💖 @kez001uk

@hkyfvr a moisture meter is a great idea! I might have to invest in one 😋 I guess the extremes in your temperatures make it really hard for some plants to cope. 🤣 love your justification 😉😉😂

The metre really helps me. Thought that was a good excuse 🤣💓

Thanks Thelma. It is just a small plant so far. It comes in white or red and maybe other colours too. Was going to get another plant but hubby was there so I cut back. He thinks 25 indoor plants is too many. 🙀As if 🤣 @crabby58

I only started collecting indoor plants in August. I killed them all till I got on this app. I thought you just needed to water them. Boy was I wrong. Have learned so much. Grateful for this app and everyone on it. Love you all💕💕😊 @crabby58

I had at least 25 when I moved state and gave all but 6 away. Right now, new home 8 yrs later, I probly going on 20 or so, haven't counted.. 🤔 a good excuse for buying houseplants is, "but they're so good for the air"
