Well someone is definitely getting wind...and it starts with S, ends in M and has a big A in the middle!!😂 Not sure what's going on out there, everything is all outta wack, this isn't 2nd wind though, this is all 1st flowering, and I am prone to dramatics!!😂😂 The issue with the garden is I've ended up somewhere I didn't really want to be, and not really a type of garden I wanted, by basing it solely around Pollinators. @wagsmomthompsonbtinternetcom

All the different types of Cosmos I did have all ended up about 2ft, bar one or 2 single specimens that are 3-4ft @Auricula

I think it’s once they have 2 sets of true leaves, I’ve not done mine yet but they not as big as yours 👍

I would be very tempted to bury them much deeper than that first or they'll get very leggy Jason 👍

😳 I can't Jane...this is them buried deeper!!😲😲😲 Right to the bottom of the pots!! They got leggy very quick, and I was swapping them between 2 windowsills to give as much as possible. The windows here are very small, deep and dark 😕 If I try again next year I will do them under a growlight 🌱 @pelly

Ahh right. This is why I’ve not done any this year, they are such a pain. I decided that much as I love them I don’t need plants that stress me out from germination to garden waste bin 😡😂😂

How lovely! I love Cosmos. I don’t know why but I just don’t to seem to have any success with seeds and it’s not for the want of trying. I seem to be only able to grow weeds! I wonder if I had a faulty batch of seedling compost? So frustrated and disappointed 😞

Time to pot them on! Did mine yesterday. I’m not growing the #cosmosbipinnatus again this year only the #sulpherous which are orange, red and yellow.

They have to stay as they are for a little while, no space to put them yet 😂 I tried some Orange ones, Polidor, that's the pot in the picture that's got no seedlings!! Not one germinated. I kill Cosmos everything I try, so I'll be happy with just 1 single flower on a plant!!🤣 @hayleyaj

Well, we have germination on 7 out of 8 types of Cosmos, still waiting on 'Polidor' 🌸 'Cups & Saucers White' proved the fastest, with all 9 seeds germinating on the same morning 😄 Cephaphora and Agastache germinated too 👍

Well done- loads of mine have come through too - bit worried about cold coming as my greenhouse has lost its door - bit careless if you ask me 😆

I’m trying 6 varieties this year. I always have the white and pink ones but have seed for a few more in the orange, peach and yellow varieties. Will start seeds in a couple of weeks. Last year I started them too early and they got rather leggy. I look forward to seeing how your red ones look. I’ve never tried them before😊

I am planting cosmos seeds for the first time this year. I just got ones that are pink but look orange in the afternoon sun. Was going to plant inside now but after reading Katy’s advice @gjones I will wait a few weeks. Best of luck Jason. So many varieties. 👍😍
