Help me identify this plant. I moved home in december and have a garden full of new plants so Iā€™m going to need some help pretty please! What is this called and do I cut it right down to the green at the bottom? Or is that a separate plant all together? Thanks 😊

Looks like a sedum to me. You can cut the dead stems and flower heads back now (it's actually quite nice to leave them over the winter as they add interest to the garden) and the green is the new growth for this year.

@lilybee thanks so much! Do I cut it all the way down to the bottom? :) x

Yes you can cut the brown stems right to the bottom as they won't flower again and you'll get new flower stalks this year, just be careful not to damage the lovely new green growth 🙂

You're welcome, for info it generally flowers late summer, the flowers will probably be pink and the bees love them!
