Help me identify this plant. I think @beatnikcrab told me this was a Domino Cactus but I could be remembering the wrong plant. And is that a flower bud forming on top??? #succulentsunday #plantid

Yessss, Echinopsis subdenudata, and yes that's a flower bud! 😁 'Domino' is technically a cv name, but it's by far the most common one, and tbh all of the cv's look the damn same anyways, so you're pretty safe to assume it's a 'Domino'. 😉

Maybe the trick is to determine when you have one that is NOT "Domino" @beatnikcrab

Pretty much! I think cv's are increasingly bullcrap, though. Every grower wants to have their own unique "exclusive" cv, so they'll just rename existing variants and call it their own. 🙄 I've only fairly recently seen one or two E. subdenudata cv's besides Domino, so idk what the story is with them or how they came to be or are differentiated. They looked the same to me. 🤷🏻♀️

Like ISBNs, I suppose @beatnikcrab
