I just started several exciting adventures in zone 6a&b (kinda in the middle). Looking forward to learning, collecting ideas, and trying new things.
It was warm enough to get outside today and I found my #iris 😬🥴😖 It's still alive. Any advice would be great, thanks 😊
It actually got smothered by the border thing in the previous picture. I moved it back and secured it with rocks for now.
It looks great. At most you need to topdress with some fresh soil.
Just keep the rhizomes exposed like you have as they don’t like to be buried. Probably not much to do this time of year as they will be going dormant for winter. They should shoot away and put on some growth in the spring 👍🏼
@emch @richard.spicer.7906 Thank you! It hasn't flowered yet. I can't wait to see a flower 🥰
Never mind seeing them; wait 'til you get a whiff of those #fragrant flowers
My #iris is showing signs of growth 😍
I got my first #iris today 😁
