I just started several exciting adventures in zone 6a&b (kinda in the middle). Looking forward to learning, collecting ideas, and trying new things.

This one already had some roots about an inch long. I was told to plant in soil when the roots are 1 to 2 inches long. That's actually what I was referring to. I think it's the one in the previous picture but the roots are longer now. 🙂💕 @cyndi @edelweiss001

Hi! What method did you use for propagation?? Water, or soil?

@RunsWithSpoons I just cut 6 to 8 inches, dipped in rooting powder, and placed in water. It took several weeks. Just changing the water periodically.

Cut your leaves in half so it puts energy into root making and not keeping leaves all pretty.. xoxo best wishes

@cyndi the one on the right aka H1 has more leaves than the others. It has two small leaves on top. I wasn't sure if I should cut those ones?

Just the largest leaves in half. Any new growth dont worry about till gets large.. then if there's not great roots yet then cut leaves.

Yes, I love blue. I know you can change the color by changing the ph with lime I think. But I haven't played with that yet.
