@cyndi we're building 🐝 boxes this wkend. Ohhh & Hanna took an old swing frame & is having me make a place for her cacti on it. She's designing it 🙈🙈 I was surprised at her 💡 to use old wooden swing frame. I'll post pics once we do it up like she wants
Close up #blueberry-bloom #blueberry #blueberry-tifblue bushes are self-pollinating to an extent, but grow lrgr fruit through cross-pollination by a second variety. ... The hole should be no more than 5 feet from another blueberry bush; proximity is necessary for cross-pollination #fruit
It's 31 degrees here this a.m. temp dropped to 27 degrees last night. It's been in the 70s mostly this winter. My #blueberries #blueberry-tifblue #blueberry-bloom are blooming, I see fruit 😥 😢 much too early..most likely loose most of the fruit.
#blueberry-bloom #blueberry-tifblue #tifblue blossoms are early, typically formed in mid to late March, ripe berries in Mid-June to late July. We've had an unusually warm winter season, lower 30s all this wk (temps have been in the upper 70s mostly this winter) if blooms fall w/o having formed berries my plants will produce, I 👀 lots of berries 😟 if we have a hard freeze, we'll loose all of the berries #pink
