I really wish we could grow citrus trees here in England Maggie, it’s just never hot enough for long enough.

My favourite orange is the blood orange Maggie, which are in the supermarkets now for about 2 months. They can be grown in a conservatory, but they’d never get to the size they should and the amount of fruit would be pathetic, they also don’t like our cold winters 🙄 they grow really well in Spain though.

Thanks for the links Cyndi 👍🏼😀, unfortunately I don’t have a conservatory and whatever these sites tell us about growing citrus here isn’t in my opinion 😱🤔 worth it, I’d say you’d grow them more for the wow factor (but I may be wrong) @cyndi

How lucky are you Maggie, my MIL used to live in Spain and had Seville oranges growing on her land, the marmalade she made was amazing 🥰

Theres a few people I think on gt who's in UK who grows them.. I think they are the dwarf type tho so stays small enough for containers. And I do know citrus well a lot of dwarf types can be grown indoors as long as have a sunny window and or grow lights to help them along.. any ways wouldn't hurt to try in my personal opinion if ya ever found one on sale.. @sieveheadsarah
