Learning as I go. My garden is very exposed to the extreme coastal weather and strong winds. My garden is very much my escape.

I use Westland Jack's Magic compost and miracle gro All purpose continuous release plant food (10 nutrients mix). @sieveheadsarah

I find this compost the best price and had lots of success for 2 years running alongside the miracle gro food @sieveheadsarah

Thanks Diane, I'll look out for that next year, mine are planted in the ground so I'd better start feeding them some miracle grow. 🌞👍🏼🌞

I also always stick fresh compost in the ground with anything I plant in the garden @sieveheadsarah

That's what I always forget to do, I have two compost bins both with great compost in them, hence the name Sievehead 😂🌞😂

Try giving it a little feed and check for slugs (I've had problems and since I tackled the slugs everything is growing happier) @clareabelle

Thanks @Diane76 we've been really vigilant with slugs and snails this year so we've not got many at all what would you recommend for feeding any food I've got tomato and rose food would any of those do 🙂, ( but to be@ honest I don't think they look very happy at all

I think a feed of miracle gro or something would be better than tomatorite @clareabelle or rose food.

30/06/17 🤔🤔🤔 suspect foul play as sunflowers on the left were out of the pot on the right photo (transferred to the trellis by the neighbours back door and was still growing well). If you look you can see the moss on the wall behind the dying sunflowers is very brown as if it's been weedkillered.

Luckily I've still got the 3 in the pot doing well.

How are the other plants that are in with them, could they have been overwatered?? I'd be crying if I came out to that, good job you've got three more.

I wouldn't be suspicious of it weren't for the colour of the moss behind it. @sieveheadsarah (I've had problems with the neighbours pulling bulbs).
