She wasnt this "open" and #full looking last night. Boy has she hit a #growthspurt #newgrowth @PunkyKy this is what was telling you about. Look at her go. At this rate ill need an #indoor #trellis soon lmao man the #rain is coming down hard outside and its gonna be cold tonight and the rest of week. Cant put protection on my outdoor plants raining hard and too windy.
Are they babies you planted in the ground?? I hope not. Sometimes I’ve gone outside middle of the night in my pjs getting soaked dragging my plants in my kitchen bathroom where ever but some where to heavy
I hope it slows down for you your wisteria looks great. Did you see the arch jeatacake made for a Westeros matter of fact. I hope you plants do ok. I was just telling Acetaker not to hurry to much planting babies right in the dirt I lost a lot like that now I just pot them in a 2x2 pot (about)and if the rain comes I can move them til they get bigger but those winds maybe like a sheet like teepee over them with branches let us know I hate to see that happen to you
@terrimclaughlin i started this indoors so this one will be ok. My weather is so up and down i cant start to many outdoors unless they need the stratification of cold. But mostbmy plants im starting indoors if i can and most im waiting on cus i just dont have the room to get ao many started for spring. Its to early for most of them anyways. So my seeds are in a fridge to do the stratification that way. Only a few seeds made i put outside and only what i had extras of so do both ways.
@cyndi I do doubles too especially with cuttings but I usually do a row of the same seeds and put 2-3 seeds in each one then see which r strong if there’s 1weak one I gently pull him out. I’m like you between all my delicate plants inside I don’t know where I’m going to seed I think I’m going to move a table from my laundry room to my extra bedroom, which is full of plants and somehow seed I should start now for my zone it’s crazy in our house too. The only place I don’t have plts is the bthrm
@cyndi I sent you off the seeds today I’ll send the live babies next week once this cold passes. I think the four types of flowering plants should do good with your weather just read up on them and the Cannabinus hybiscus will spread a lot just so you know it gets real green all summer then blooms in late October or so it has picker so do those buds I sent so u can c. The orange trumpet vine the Esperanza the Pride of Barbados. Good luck. The live ones will be easier lol
All the more amazing having seen how cold it is at the moment! 👍 I'm still resisting sowing anything just yet. Not too cold here but we are experiencing as serious storm just now. Strong wind & very heavy rain 😟
I planted 2 seeds so not very earth goddess if only got 1 to come up maybe half goddess half suucky mortal lmao kyla but they did need nicked and soaked 24 hrs or will take longer to sprout so im thinking i didnt nick other well enough lol @PunkyKy
Thanks Jeff @jeatacake i didnt realize it had sprouted untill i was giving my guinea pig some alfalfa hay and spilled some on top of container . glad didnt hurt it. Lol. There were 2 seeds planted but only this one sprouted hooe the other comes along soon as well.
Help me identify this plant.. Its #wisteria but not sure which one. We will find out all together when it grows hopefully lol. #seeds #seedcollecting #seedsaving #seedidreference #seedgift #seedfairy from @PunkyKy #update we think its #wisteriasinensis seems to match seeds online and plant.
@KelsiBriana oh ok. We phased out “copper” 1&2 c coins about 25 yrs ago. Smallest now is 5c and now they’re thinking of phasing that out too. I traveled the States nearly 30 yrs ago and realised Australia’s coins were cumbersome and in unnecessary denominations. 1,2,5,10,20.50 back then. Now we have have 5,10,20,50,$1,$2. People tend to have coin jars and are surprised when it’s cashed in.
