So that mystery plant I couldnt figure out with the tiny pink flower(no more of it on plant so was a glitch flower i guess)is actually my #sweetstevia I did some more looking in light of day and checked the base of plant and low and behold its all the same it just got massive..and i tasted the leaves too to be 100% sure yeap its my stevia. One of those plants that got wayyyy bigger than I thought it would. That means the seed i put in front of the stevia didnt take.
@karisamuel @yollymac @teamgardentags this is not candy leaf its sweet stevia someone changed the name of it. Thats not cool.. No where in any link is it called candy leaf. Mine when i bout it was labeled sweet stevia "Stevia" http://www.stevia.net/growingstevia.htm and https://www.burpee.com/herbs/stevia/stevia-sweet-leaf-prod000486.html for reference. A load of plants are getting labeled or relabeled wrong.
No trouble. GardenTags is bound by plagiarism laws. When you write your descriptions, do you copy from websites or write them yourself? The only website to my knowledge that has given GardenTags express permission to use its content is the ICN. There may be more but I only really get involved in Succulents.
If i do make one I add the sites link as well @yollymac but I am speaking about is the name on here candy leaf. When i first put this plant in here it was stevia which is what it is or a sweet stevia. Candy leaf is wrong. No site or seed/plant catalogs or the label i had on mine ever calls it "candy leaf" that leads to confusion and is false info. Its happens often on here someone changing names and someone changing info about plants and lots of time its not always correct.
I wont make any more then cus Im dyslexic and would cause more issues trying to type it all out. And this is one that has been changed the plants name has been changed @yollymac it use to say Stevia and then the latin name under it. Now it says candy leaf which is not correct.
I have asked them to look into this one for you so no need to email it through. They are doing that for you now. My previous comment with the email was if you find any other issues in future. I hope that helps.
Im gonna see if i can just let a lot of the seed direct sow self seed this year for this to fill out the space Jenn @jennlamaye next year a lot of my garden will be even better because some plants need a dang year or 2 to flower lol and the plants to get larger. Prob gonna let a lot of seed self seed in the areas they are so hopefully ill have a better start next season (year)
Those are so pretty cyndi. You have such a great variety and @Jennlamaye sometimes they take a lot longer to come up through the ground some of my bulbs I planted in March just came up a few weeks ago and it might even if been the end of February so be careful with the dirt cause I messed with some dirt where I put seeds a one came up there. So they might of moved somehow underground went sideways or something plus like u said some take til second year. Plus I learned when seeding in those cell
One of the things I did yesterday was finish my #collection of #stevia #seeds had so many gave some to a neighbor who has a friend in Texas who gardens where she is going soon to be stationed at with her hubby. #seedsaving #ediblegarden #sweet
