I'm gifting this batch to my ride and his wife for all the help they showed me this month for plants and seeds Maggie @dirtgirlworld I'll be sharing some of my harvest when it comes in as well with them.
I trimmed mine up and it helped alot Leslie @lesliecole49 and you can take a lot of your trimmings and make more rosemary bushes to grow.. makes great hedges too. Of course dry and store some of your cuttings for cooking and such as well.
Think of it as a sorta vacation Maggie @dirtgirlworld clear your head and a catch up on any projects or chores needed without interruptions lol.. and a time to soak in bubble bath and just be for a bit.. stay strong and positive hun xoxo
That's great Maggie @dirtgirlworld on the seeds popping up some do take longer than others anyway... that's scary.. I'm use to being alone I prefer it.. so doesnt bother me at all just the not having supplies and enough food that part bothers me but I'll manage somehow. Just keep same by keeping yourself busy doing anything and everything you can so time flies faster and you wont even notice too much.. lol..
Took some #cuttings from my #rosemary . i want to grow a rosemary short #hedge so im gonna attempt this lol ill take more cuttings another day cus my wrist def isnt healed.. i lifted a pot and felt like my wrist snapped. That hurt so brace back on.. #herb #gyo #growyourown #smellssogood
Remember when I got my finger broken? Well my wrist was damaged as well not broke but hurt very bad. Seams like its not healed correctly and I keep having issues with it if I try to lift anything with any weight to it Laura @columbiariver even moving it in any direction is painful. Thank you on all of it tho. Xoxo I hope it works. Xox
I tried and failed earlier this year with my rosemary cuttings but it was the first time I’d tried it ....I also tried same with lavender...most failed but I think I have 2 or 3 that are taking...it seems so slow...need patience! ...now I’ve seen you’re doing it I’m going to try again with my rosemary!👍👍👍 ...I do hope your wrist improves soon xxx
I wish you much success Belinda @belindah use some rooting harmone or cinnamon on the cuttings. Keep damp but not soaked. If you keep them out side try for part sun part shade for better results. After they get a good root system going them upsize the pot (s) a size or two until ready to put into ground or in a very large container. Acclimate slowly to full sun. They prefer like lavender does a more sandy soil. Take the leaves off the bottom part of stem to root either of them. Good luck. Oh👇🏻
Oohh that sounds devine Terry @moore.794 I like doing the herbal vinagers as well I do this for cooking hot meals rubs marinades etc. Also if you make an multi herbal oil blend its great for the skin too.
Ive used those oils b4 Kelsi @KelsiBriana I just dont have the funds right now for it and this I had on hand. I also like to make oils for skin and hair care. I use to when I was able to work and buy supplies make all natural body care products like soap oils rubs bathsalts lipbalms etc..
