Thank you .. sorry yours passed away Susan @Susanandsteve they need lots of sunshine or bright light and never to dry out or stay to soggy. I keep all mine outside and divide up every so often to keep them multiplying all around cus they are just so pretty and pop of color
Hmm maybe a pot of them outdoors in spring summer and bring indoors for winter Susan @Susanandsteve they do go dormant as well. I keep these under sheets or canopy shelter when starts getting freezing temps here. But as long as I mulch they seem to survive.
@Susanandsteve I put mine outside in indirect bright light in the summer then bring them inside when the weather cools. Mine struggle indoors now because I have really poor light inside but when I lived elsewhere, they had indirect bright light also and did well.
#multitasking a large #container with #purplefalseshamrock #brugmansia a few #bulbs and #nasturtium a pot in the pathway. The #brug was a cutting I took from one of my others so I could make more. I think it all looks awesome together so far.
I use mine as a ground cover under other plants like my fruit trees if you protect it with mulch/leaves etc it will regrow come spring and keep some indoors of course incase of super hard winters @lesliecole49
Thanks Kathy @gjones the pale lavender color of the bloom against the very dark purple of the leaves is striking. And blended with the green shamrock with white flowers is just amazing to see in full bloom all mixed up.
It could be @Scratchycat13 take them out and dump on a sheet of plastic so you can sort seperate and see how many you have all together in one pot.. They can get to crowded as well. Then redo a pot or more of them up and take care of as normal. Add a week mix of fertilizer when redo pots
Yours are looking good. Even blooming. I think Hannahcristines might of needed a drink. I loved em. I first saw them at botanical gardens about 4 yrs ago. I like them cause they look different and I like how the sort of close partiality at night
@Scratchycat13 scroll through will tag another you can scroll through as well xoxo just spread more of them end of year and few days ago so some not ready yet to take pics of. This is awesome mixed with other plants
